Awesome place to eat in San Miguel de Allende! Food was delicious and excellently presented! Service was kind and very attentive, checked on us often and cleared plated promptly and politely! Atmosphere is awesome on the terrace! Loved the Smoked Unami Roll and the Short Ribs were fantastic! Def recommended for a nice dinner in San Miguel! Make reservations early, like days in advance if you are planning on eating here during busy times, we ate here on the weekend of Dia de Los Muertos and made reservations 4 days before and they were already pretty booked. I also made a point of asking for a table on the edge of the terrace for awesome views!

There really aren't enough superlatives for Atrio. Of course the decor is gorgeous and the view is incredible - but what sets Atrio apart is the quality of the food and the breadth of the menu - and - most importantly - the staff. From the moment you walk in and check in at reception - throughout your entire stay - you are made to feel like a guest in someone's home. We bring all of our visitors here and to a person, they are made to feel special and welcome. Jesus goes on a charm offensive as soon as he sees you - and never stops - and that attitude - is reflected in the servers, the assistant wait staff, bartenders - everyone (Jonathan in particular). Amazing experience from beginning to end. Joe

Dined here on our last evening in San Miguel, and it exceeded our expectations on almost every level! It’s a fabulous rooftop, where you can enjoy the sunset on one side, and watch the bellringer operate the Parroquia bell tower on the other side! The service was excellent, and the food divine. My hubby had the ribeye, which was definitely the weak point in the experience. I had the salmon, which is covered in crispy black sesame seeds. We shared the asparagus, and key lime pie for dessert - both of which are AMAZING!We are from the Midwest in the USA, so we are accustomed to the best beef available anywhere, so perhaps should have known better than to order a steak, which was unremarkable. However, our other choices were beyond expectations. I highly recommend the salmon - amazingly delicious, and the asparagus side dish complimented it perfectly. I could have eaten the asparagus as my main dish, it was so good. I also HIGHLY recommend the key lime pie - even though you won’t be hungry after your huge meal, this dessert is an experience you won’t want to miss! Have your camera ready, set on video, when the waiter brings it out - believe me, you’ll thank me for this tip! When we return, we will bypass the beef and pork options, and go for their other fusion specialties. I can’t wait!

A rooftop with a view, delicious food and great service. Wow!! The best. We had the asparagus side dish. It’s like nothing you’ve had before. The asparagus spears are very lightly battered and the somehow roped with a barely sweet sauce and sliced almonds. What a combination!! The tomato soup was beautifully spiced with Indian seasoning. We loved the Jospor Oven duck rice, the sea bass, and the short rib. It was a lovely dinner.

Great food, great atmosphere, and great service! I had the Baja Taco, which is a soft shell crab soft taco with a with a delicious sauce, and the flavor was great. This was followed by the pasta Vangole - a flavorful pasta with clams. It was delicious and perfectly cooked, but perhaps a little skimpy on the noodles. The key lime pie for dessert was the best I’ve ever had! The meringue was on the side, and beautifully torched for an artistic and flavorful presentation. I will come back again and again for this!

We came and ate at Atrio the day we arrived in San Miguel and were instantly impressed. They are conveniently located close to all of the action of the town and have a beautiful roof top. All of the food was tasty and the drinks were great as well. Would recommend and come back again 100%.

Our lunch at Atrio, perched on the rooftop with a breathtaking view of the cathedral, was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The standout of the day was not just the exquisite food but the impeccable service led by our wonderful waiter, Angel, whose genuine recommendations elevated our dining adventure. We decided on two of their renowned taco dishes: the soft shell crab tacos with their delectable aioli sauce and the Peking duck tacos accompanied by a sweet nuoc cham sauce. Both dishes were a tantalizing explosion of flavors that perfectly married the diverse ingredients, showcasing the culinary finesse of their kitchen. We also ordered the fabulous rice artichoke, beautifully prepared in their Josper charcoal oven, which added an exceptional depth of smoky flavor to this already zesty dish.Usually, I'd single out one standout dish, but I find it impossible this time as each plate was equally fantastic.Without a doubt, Atrio is a place I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking not just a meal but an unforgettable dining experience. From the panoramic rooftop view to the exceptional service and the outstandingly delicious dishes, Atrio exceeds expectations in every aspect.
